DAMMIT!!! The one celebrity relationship I actually wanted to succeed has ended. Yes, Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody, the beloved Seth and Summer of The O.C. have broken up. According to Life & Style, it seems as though the split was mutual, so there isn't even any good post-relationship mudslinging to be had. Bummer.

"They've been done for a few weeks," a friend close to the couple tells Life & Style. "They are just done. That's all there is to it. There's no drama. They just ended it."

That may explain why Adam showed up solo to a party on Nov. 28 for the U.S. premiere of Volkswagen's concept car Tiguan in LA.

"He was definitely acting like a single guy," an eyewitness tells Life & Style.

According to nightlife insiders in LA, he's been spending a lot of time without Rachel at the clubs with his guy friends.

Well, at least with Brody out of the picture I've finally got my shot. We already know she likes the slim, Jewish, comic book geeks who wear ironic T-shirts and listen to Death Cab, so I'm totally in.

What!? Shut up! I am totally in.
