Defamer lets us in on the new (however foreseeable) rumour that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are now engaged. Expect an announcement in the next day or two, but don't expect anyone to actually buy it. This relationship is the most contrived celebrity relationship ever, and I don't think anyone really cares.
Seriously, though, where did you think this was going after Katie Holmes' conversion to Scientology.
