Ashlee Simpson Will Make “Chicago” Worse
I hated the movie version of Chicago. Why it won the Oscar is beyond me. It was horrible. I doubt that the stage version is much better, but I wouldn't know, because musicals suck.
The one question I have, though, is who thinks putting a girl who can't sing, and can't act in a muscial will make it better? The girl in question, of course, is Ashlee Simpson. That's right, the younger, lip-synching, horse-throated Simpson sister is playing Roxy in the London production of Chicago, and anyone who thinks that's a reason to go see it, is well, dumb.
