No, I didn't watch the American Music Awards last night. First, award shows suck in general. Second, no one cares about the American Music Awards. Third, any award that can be given to Mariah Carey and Shakira is not a real award. It's a lucite pyramid. It might have been, however, in a masochistic way, to watch Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff "attempt" to sing. So, this is the state of American Music. That's reassuring.
