I'm not sure what exactly the dress code was at whatever party it is that Kim Kardashian is at with Michelle Trachtenberg and Emmy Rossum, but I believe she might be a bit underdressed. Not that I have any real problem with Kim Kardashian in a bikini, but it's about standards. And, you know, not flashing your tits all around town like some fame-hungry, attention-craving, desperate media whore. Actually, I'm just annoyed that Michelle and Emmy weren't in bikinis too.

Um... OMG. Check out Emmy Rossum looking ridiculously hot in the new issue of Details magazine. Emmy's one of those girls that's always been around, and while she's always been cute, she doesn't generally spring to mind as being the sex-pot type. Well, it looks like she got a new manager, or something, because she's pushing that sweet girl image right out the window with these shots. In fact, I do believe that Emmy Rossum is naked under that giant necklace... Stupid necklace.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art held it's annual Costume Institute Gala, which is on par with the Academy Awards in terms of the number of beautiful women in sex dresses. My favourites this time out include Blake Livley (the busty gossip girl), Gisele Bundchen (so sexy), Hilary Duff (who keeps getting hotter), Kate Mara (my favourite redhead), Michelle Trachtenberg (whose nipples were saved by some golden pasties), Sarah Silverman (as cleavagey as ever), and Taylor Swift (who just might be the most beautiful girl in the world). Alright all you sharp-eyed, nipple lovers, it's time to get out your digital magnifying glasses. Why? Because if it hadn't been for a good friend of Egotastic!, I would have never noticed these Emmy Rossum nipple slip pictures. Yes, that's right, Emmy Rossum is ever so slightly slipping out of her dress, but this is definitely a bonified nipple slip.

So who is Emmy Rossum, you may ask? Well, I like to think of her as Anne Hathaway, Part 2. She's that "good girl" you've probably seen in a bunch of movies, but you'd be hard pressed to remember her name. She's also damn cute, and totally under-hyped in the hottie department. At any rate, hopefully you'll remember her a little bit better after this.

Costume Institute Benefit Gala Mega Picture Post

Here's what I really don't get about celebrities, and socialites in general. In order to raise money for a cause, they throw lavish parties, wear absurdly expensive dresses and jewels, and eat food that costs more for one meal than most families could afford for a month. All in the name of fundraising.

Take, for example, the Costume Institute Benefit Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York each year. The goal is to raise money for the Met, to fund the arts, and all that good stuff, but wouldn't it make more sense to shelve the egos, put away the dresses, and just give all that money, that would otherwise be spent on frivolity, directly to the cause for which they are trying to raise funds?

I mean, there are starving artists in the East Village who can't even afford new canvases, let alone the cost of their next heroine fix.

Of course, if celebrities didn't throw these ridiculous parties, I wouldn't have all these pictures to post on my blog, and then no one would be happy.

Critics Choice Awards 2006 Mega Picture Post

It's award season again, and you know what that means: the return of the Award Show Mega Picture Posts here at Egotastic! Last night, the Critics Choice Awards kicked off the run up to the Oscars, but it's likely no one tuned in. The real show is going to be next week at the Golden Globes.

Brokeback Mountain won best picture, and the film's director, Ang Lee, won best director. Best actor went to Philip Seymour Hoffman for Capote, and Reese Witherspoon won for best actress as June Carter Cash in Walk the Line.
